In Florida, residents who benefit from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, can expect to receive their financial support for food purchases in the third week of June 2025. This federal-state partnership program aims to help low-income individuals and families afford nutritious meals.

Every month, funds are transferred onto recipients' Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards, which can be used like debit cards at approved grocery stores.

Payment Dates for June 2025

Payments in June are staggered based on the last two digits of a recipient's Social Security number. Here's the schedule for the third week of June 2025:

  • June 16, 2025: Recipients with Social Security digits ending in 58-60.
  • June 17, 2025: No payments.
  • June 18, 2025: Recipients with digits ending in 65-67.
  • June 19, 2025: Payments for those with digits ending in 68-71.
  • June 20, 2025: Payments for IDs ending in 72-74.
  • June 21, 2025: No payments.
  • June 22, 2025: No payments.

Other Benefit Dates

It’s interesting to note that, according to data analyzed from users of the Propel app, nearly all SNAP benefit deposits are loaded onto the recipients' cards at midnight in Florida.

For those who receive additional financial support such as cash assistance or SUNCAP (food assistance for individuals receiving SSI), the availability is slightly different. Payments are made on the first three days of each month:

  • June 1, 2025: Recipients with Social Security ending digits from 00-33.
  • June 2, 2025: No specific ID range mentioned.
  • June 3, 2025: No specific ID range mentioned.

This structured distribution helps manage the logistics and ensures that all eligible recipients receive their benefits in a timely manner, thus supporting the overall goal of reducing food insecurity among Florida residents.
